Which model have I got

I picked up a great Volvo yesterday but want to confirm what model it is. I think it's a CD model due to the spec as follow: 1997 2.0 V40 Leather interior Walnut trimming Multi CD player Air Conditioning (manual - not auto climate control) Electric sunroof All electric windows Heated seats Cruise control Remote Locking Computer It just says 2.0 on the boot and none of the documents say what model. Is there any way I can tell for sure? Thanks Dave

I would agree it would appear to be a CD. It sounds the same spec as my Dads old S40. Does it have trims round the wheel arches? If so it should have the sports suspension.

there's a free car summary on autotrader (mid way down on the left...called see your cars history or something) put your reg in there and it gives you the spec...well it tells me mine is an SE if that helps :)

Doesn't sound good that mate....ring Volvo with ur VIN...they will tell you exactly what spec you have :)

I have a good deal of history with the car and it was first registered to a person in the British forces in Germany. It was subsequently brought back to the UK and reregistered here. It's likely that the model information was not completed fully when the forms were submitted originally. Hence why I can't find the info from an automated search. I haven't had a chance to call Volvo yet but will give them a call next week. Thanks for the replies.
