Im using Pro tools LE 6.4 on a Dell Computer with a Intel pentium processor. (I'll try to give more detail on the system if needed). Anyway, after I use it, when i try to turn off my computer a blue screen pops up saying that the computer had to shut itself down to avoid damage. This only happens after i use Pro Tools. Any other time it turns off fine. Anybody know whats wrong???

Search for BSOD (Blue Screen of Death)... You should find some good info there...

We don't know what Digi hardware you have and next to nothing about your computer system. Use the Sandra program listed in the General Troubleshooting thread to post computer details.

You should start with the steps in the thread and post specific info on your system per the info on that thread if you're unable to resolve the problem.

You maybe should do 'Check Disk'. It's like msconfig but then you type CHCKDSK i think. In my case it worked... search on the forum. Hope this helps Cheers Tuur

The cs9 update takes care of SP2. Have you checked out the General Troubleshooting thread yet?
