how to get this sound?

3:12-3:13 there's a scratching sound i hear dj's too, in this case that sound leads to a floor tom how was this done?

It sounds to me like they reversed some of the drum hits.

yep that is a reversed something... what would be fun would be to dl the audio and isolate just that sound in the wav file [in reaper of course] and then reverse that and see what it sounds like. ...get the idea?
