My D2B is cool, it's serial number is 001 When I am mixing I am feeding it 16 Prism Dream ADA outputs from 48k 24 bit sessions. This runs into a Cranesong STC-8 (or SSL compressor if I am in that mood) Into a Cranesong Hedd A/D set to 96k 24 bit Into an Alesis Masterlink set to 96k 24 bit which I listen to via a Benchmark DAC-1 Which feeds my ProControl monitor section On which the monitor pot is set to the maximum 'full up' setting Volume is controlled via the DAC-1 volume pot

I've been checking these units out, especially after the recent Mix Magazine fiasco. Anyone else have any thoughts on the D2B?
