Maybe I am missing a feature somewhere, but I just can't find a simple way to add a (few) bar(s) in an arrangement in Reaper. You know, you are working on a song and you'd like to add a 2-bars break before that chorus, how do you do that in Reaper ? What I am doing now is engage ripple for all tracks and create a blank midi event that is going to push everything later (to the right) ... not at very effective workflow ... Thanx for your help,

So easy, your gonna love it! Draw a two measure selection in the timebar where you want to add, right click, choose Insert Empty Space in Selection, and there you are. Everything moves you have your new space.

One thing- Any clips that do not start at/middle/or after this time will NOT move. The easiest way(as far as I know): Select that spot and use the action Time Selection: Insert space at time selection (moving later items)
