V40 - sidelights - can't remove 'em...

GOTCHA! After much cursing and cut digits, the thing is out. UNBELIEVABLE how much welly it took to remove! It is a matter of twist and heave at the same time, being careful not to rip the wiring out of the bulb holder. Volvo probably have a specific tool for the job.... lol iv just spent the last 20 mins trying to remove it.. and couldnt.. so came on here looking for advice.. will have another go.. thanks :)

As you guys have said, it is just a twist and pull bayonet type housing and then the bulb is push fit. Mine came out easily when I changed to the upgraded phillips blue side lights.
